Plan of Development (POD) is the key point in the Oil and Gas
business of Indonesia Upstream Oil and Gas project. POD is a guideline for “The
Contractor “ (KKKS) in running the oil and gas project. Beside as a planning
program, POD also including description planning of activities, budgeting
program and financial authorization. In the Indonesia PSC Term, WP & B, AFE
and POD is the integrated aspect that every “Contractor” have to proposed its
to BP Migas and then BP Migas will approve its. Therefore, between BP Migas and
The Contractor should be have the same perception all about aspect of POD, AFE
and WP&B especially about the basic principle, mechanism and procedure,
system and operational guideline.

SINANG BULAWAN*. Received Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering from University of Sriwijaya and Petroleum Enggineering from University of Tulsa, USA. He has more experience in petroleum industry with various responsibility in planning engineering, production, operation and drilling etc. Currently he as Vice President of Operation BPMIGAS. Prof. DR. Ir. Widjajono Partowidagdo, MSc, MSOR. He is a professor of petroleum economic and an instructor that has high qualification both in academic and practical expertise in petroleum economics in oil and gas industries and he has conducted many project consultations of major oil and gas industry in Indonesia. He is a senior lecturer in Petroleum Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology and Magister Management Programs, ITB. He received BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from Petroleum Department, ITB, Master degree (M.Sc.) in Petroleum Engineering and Operations Research, Master degree (MA) in Economics and Doctor (Ph.D) in engineering both from University of Southern California, USA. He also gets many short course programs in Energy Planning & Policy from University of Wincousin, USA; Energy Economic Study from AIT, Bangkok-Thailand; and Resources Accounting Course from World Resources Institute, Washington DC, USA RINTO PUDYANTORO, SE, MM. He received BS degree in Finance Accounting from Gajahmada University and master degree in International Finance. Currently he attends to Doctor degree in Resources and Environment Economics. He has more that 15 years working experience in oil and gas industry. Currently he joint to BP Migas and Accounting and Revenue Division of BP Migas.
